Care instructions Sterling Silver 925
Sterling silver (925) is a timeless and precious material. To preserve its brilliance and extend its lifespan, we recommend following the care instructions below.
Avoid Water & Moisture
Remove your sterling silver jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising. Prolonged exposure to water and moisture can accelerate oxidation and dull its shine.
Keep Away from Chemicals
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, cleaning products, and household chemicals. Always apply beauty products before putting on your jewellery.
Store Properly
When not in use, store your jewellery in a dry place, preferably in a jewellery box or pouch. Keeping it away from air and humidity helps prevent tarnishing.
Clean Gently
Each sterling silver piece from Zofana includes a soft polishing cloth. Use it gently to restore shine and remove natural oxidation. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh cleaning agents.
Wear with Care
Remove your jewellery during sports, heavy lifting, or activities that may cause impact or bending.
Natural Oxidation
Sterling silver may naturally oxidize over time. This is a normal characteristic of the material and does not indicate a defect. With proper care and occasional polishing, its original shine can easily be restored.
Care instructions Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel jewellery is designed for durability and everyday wear. The material is water-resistant, tarnish-resistant, and hypoallergenic.
To maintain its finish and shine:
- Avoid harsh chemicals and cleaning agents
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water
- Remove jewellery during heavy physical activity
- Store separately to prevent scratches
- Clean gently with a soft cloth when needed
Although highly durable, stainless steel may develop minor surface scratches over time due to normal wear.

Find your perfect ring size
Choosing the right ring size is essential for comfort and confidence. Your finger size can vary depending on temperature, time of day, and even from finger to finger. Below, we explain how to measure your size accurately.
Important tips when measuring your ring size
Measure at the Right Time
Your fingers can slightly expand throughout the day. Measure your finger at the end of the day when it is at its largest to ensure the ring won’t feel too tight.
Consider Temperature
Cold fingers are smaller, while warm fingers are slightly larger. Make sure your hands are at normal body temperature when measuring.
Measure the Correct Finger
Always measure the finger on which you plan to wear the ring. Each finger can have a different size.
Think About Ring Width
Wider rings tend to feel tighter than thinner bands. If you are choosing a wide ring, consider going one size up for extra comfort.
How to Measure Your Ring Size
You can use one of the following methods:
Paper Strip Method
Cut a strip of paper (about 1 cm wide). Wrap it around your finger and mark where the ends meet. Measure the length in millimeters — this number equals your EU ring size.
String or Measuring Tape
Wrap a thin string or measuring tape around your finger. Mark the overlap and measure the length in millimeters.
Measure an Existing Ring
Measure the inner circumference (or inner diameter) of a ring that fits you well.
EU Ring Size Chart
EU ring sizes are based on the inner circumference in millimeters.
EU SizeInner Circumference5050 mm5252 mm5454 mm5656 mm5858 mm6060 mm
Example:
If your finger measures 54 mm, your EU ring size is 54.
Tip: Consider Your Knuckles
Your knuckle is often the widest part of your finger. Measure the widest part to ensure the ring slides over comfortably. If your knuckle is significantly wider than the base of your finger, choose a size that passes over the knuckle easily, even if it feels slightly looser at the base.
If you’re unsure between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
